In this first episode of 2021, I am delighted to welcome my colleague Alex Grzankowski (alexgrzankowski.com). We discuss questions in the philosophy of language and mind surrounding reference and the ascriptions of mental attitudes such as beliefs.
Our discussion revolves around Saul Kripke's important paper "A Puzzle About Belief", In A. Margalit (ed.), Meaning and Use. Reidel. pp. 239--83 (1979).

In this second episode I am delighted to welcome my colleague Hallvard Lillehammer (hallvardlillehammer.com). We discuss trolley problems and what we can learn from them about the nature of our intuitions in ethics.
We discuss Judith Jarvis Thompson's paper, "Turning the Trolley", Philosophy and Public Affairs, Vol. 36, No. 4 (2008), pp. 359-74.
